The programs offer an opportunity for grades 7th-12th to explore and maximize their full potential in the area of S.T.E.M. The programs are designed to help students develop skills such as: analytical thinking, problem solving, research science and analyzing data, solid works, 3D printing and public speaking.
The program offers an opportunity for grades 7th-12th to explore areas of medicine through workshops, cohort training, research science, and internship. Medical Professionals and researchers from various field of study mentor the youth.
Students have an opportunity to visit medical facilities and work alongside with Dentist, Internal Medicine Practitioners, Nurses, and visit world renown places such as Brookhaven National Laboratory and Cold Spring Harbor.
The program offers an opportunity for grades 7th-12th to explore fields such as media, arts and music.
Students also learn video game design. They learn how to take an original idea from invention to completion, collaboratively designing, developing, coding, programming and then publishing their games industry-standard tools.
Zion Youth Preventive & Intervention Program consist of an Evidence-Based Model of cradles to careers that builds the community by empowering the youth to have hope and discover his/her potentials. Our approach focuses on behavior & academic programs from prevention to intervention which lead the youth maintain resilience.
Our organization works closely with Colleges/Universities, CBO's, FBO's, and various local, state and federal agencies that shared similar vision for the youth and the community.
The organization is a member of the Long Island Youth Safety Coalition & the Heroin Preventive Task Force in Nassau County.
This is a youth program that is designed to help youth that are exhibiting behavioral challenges and poor academic performance.
The Case Manager will focus on client-centered intervention which will provide the emotional and psychological support that the youth need to improve the quality of life. The youth will receive an individualized service plan.
