He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the Supreme Court of the United States, The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He has been admitted pro hac vice in a number of other jurisdictions. Steven is also a certified public accountant. He received his B.B.A. (Public Accounting), magna cum laude, from Hofstra University in 1986, where he minored in Political Science.
Steven has a private law practice with his partner, Robert J. La Reddola. Steven is a member of the New York State (Civil Practice Law & Rules Committee, 1993-1997; 2000-2003) and Nassau County Bar Associations. He also serves as legal counsel to the Democratic Caucus of the Town Board of the Town of Hempstead (2000 to present).
Steve is currently serving for a second time as the President of the Board of Trustees of his church, the South Nassau Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Freeport, New York (2003-2005, 2014-present) and has served as a member of the Board of Trustees for four separate terms (1995-1998, 2003-2006, 2010-2012, 2013- present). Steven served as the Legislative District Leader for the 19th L.D. for the Nassau County Democratic Committee (2005-2014), and was a member of the Merrick Kiwanis Club. He previously served as President of the Friends of the Merrick Library (2001-2003) and was appointed by the Nassau County Legislature to serve on the Temporary Districting Advisory Committee, which recommended new boundaries for the county legislative districts based on the 2000 Census. Steve is a native of Bellmore, New York. He is married, has a daughter and son, and resides in Merrick, New York.
Dr. Lisa Maria Williamson MD MPH

Dr. Williamson is a Pediatrician at LMW Medical PC. She also provides primary pediatric care to children and educational workshops for over 500 children within the foster care system. She received her B.A from Cornell University, MA in Public Health, magna cum laude, from New York University and her M.D., magna cum laude, from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Williamson has a year experienced as Medical Director of Hempstead Health Center, which she was responsible for scheduling staff, budgeting, and payroll, and assisted with JAHCO inspections. In addition to private pediatric practice, Dr. Williamson is a Pastor at Mt. Olive African Methodist Church. She also coordinates and supervises 55 A.M.E. churches programming for health seminars, workshops, community health fairs and walk a thons. She is an active member of Queens/Long Island Medical Society and she has been recognized in 2008, publication of the America’s Top Pediatrician: Consumer Research Council.
